Unfolding Pages

Firstly I am a writer, my love of writing fiction started many years ago, when I was first exposed to script writing. I have written many short screenplays and even published a few on an amateur level. As my life progressed and changed so did not only my writing style but also my goals as an author, I found that I no longer thrived on the idea of writing screenplays for that ultimate big budget film. But rather I wanted to reach people on a personal level. I began to look at where my true joy in writing and literature lay, and soon realized it was in the timeless medium of the Novel. I thought long and hard before starting this blog, debated over whether writing and publishing my works here was a smart decision compared to the more tradition route of submitting to a publisher and hoping that they would sign me up and not drop my manuscript in the trash. I the end, it came down to one simple truth; I want my work to have an audience, as it stands, as I have written it, without all the editing and re-arranging that comes with the publishing system.
